Dragan Dabic is the alias used by Radovan Karadzic while in hiding in Serbia. Last seen in 1996, Karadzic lived as Dabic, practicing "alternative medicine" at a clinic in Belgrade, until his arrest on July 21, 2008.1
On July 24, 2008, authorities announced they have continued their investigation into who helped Karadzic assume his identity as Dabic and who the real Dragan Dabic was.2

Charges Against Karadzic
Radovan Karadzic was charged, along with Ratko Mladic, with war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity in 1995. Allegedly, Karadzic, who was the president of the Republika Srpska, ordered the killing of over 7,500 Muslim men and children.1
