Dorothy Dixon
Dorothy Dixon, a developmentally delayed woman, was found dead in her home on January 31, 2008. She was six months pregnant. Investigators allege that
Michelle Riley had brought Dixon to live at Riley's house not to take care of her, as Riley alleged, but to abuse her and take her Social Security money. Riley had met Dixon while working at a center for the developmentally disabled. Dixon was a client of the center. Riley lived with Dixon, cashed her
social security checks, and is charged with physically abusing her, with the abuse ultimately resulting in Dixon's death. Also accused are Riley's friend
Judy Woods, who allegedly hit Dixon in the head with a blunt object the night before she died, Riley's 15 year old daughter,
LeShelle McBride, and her friends,
Benny Wilson and
Michael Elliott along with Riley's 12 year old son.
