Early Experience
Bradman began his cricket career as a scorer for his father's local team. He would later recount how he would practice batting at home, making up test matches in his head. His first real match came at the age of twelve, when he was asked to play for the high school team. Bradman earned 115 of the total 150 runs his team scored that day.4
