Don't Bump the Glump is a children's book by author Shel Silverstein. It was originally published in 1964, but has been out of print for many years, until being republished by HarperCollins Books on March 18, 2008. It was Shel Silverstein's first book of children's poetry, a collection of forty five poems originally published under the name of Uncle Shelby’s Zoo. This book is also his first book to feature full color illustrations. Some of the unique creatures featured in this book are the Quick-Digesting Gink, the Gub-Toothed Sline, and the One-Legged Zantz.
