Diana Bianchi

Diana Bianchi is the former assistant for Peter Cook, Christie Brinkley's ex-husband. Brinkley discovered Cook and Bianchi were having an affair when she found private e-mails between the two and filed for divorce in 2006. Their divorce was finalized in July 2008.¹

In October 2008, the New York Post reported that the rumors of a sex-tape featuring Cook and Bianchi were true. The writers claimed they saw "a series of stills for from a video," and described the scene in detail.²

Cook's Testimony in Court

Cook was questioned by Brinkley's attorney about his relationship with Bianchi. He said that after he met Bianchi at the toy store, he hired her to type magazine articles onto his company's website. She was paid $20,000 for her work.³

Cook admitted to having an affair with Bianchi, and said he gave her $300,000 in May of 2007, because he was trying to protect himself and his family from a scandal.³

Peter Cook Relationship

Peter Cook met Bianchi while shopping for toys for his and Christie Brinkley's children. Bianchi was an employee of the store at the time. He invited her to work for him at his firm. She took him up on the offer.³

Later, Brinkley discovered e-mails from Bianchi to Cook that intimated of a relationship between the two. As a result, Brinkley filed for divorce.¹
