Devin Thomas

Devin Thomas has forgone his senior year at Michigan State University, to enter the NFL Draft as a wide receiver. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 15, 1986 and attended Canton Michigan High School where he was a two year starter for their football team.

Thomas' long arms, leaping ability and speed make up his strenghts as a wide receiver.

Thomas needs conditioning and developing. He lacks burst and timing. He struggles with running routes, but makes an average blocker.

Thomas went to a conmmunity college his freshman year and later transfered to Michigan in his sopomore year. Thomas' junior year showed great improvement due to new Coach Dantonio's efforts and guidance. Thomas set a school record with 79 receptions, and was second in the Big 10 Conference with 1,260 yards. He averaged 6.6 yards per 27 carries.

Coming off a great 2007 season, Thomas decided to enter the 2008 NFL Draft.
