A Devil May Cry 4 Demo was initially scheduled for distribution prior to the game's official release on February 5, 2008. The 804.05 MB download includes the demo with ten minutes of gameplay and boss fight, as well as a PC benchmarking program.

Devil May Cry 4 is a 2008 action game developed for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. While the fourth release in the series, canonically it places third in the established series timeline. Unlike the previous entries, Devil May Cry 4 marks the first time that players must progress through a significant portion of the storyline as a character other than Dante.
