Never played any organized football until he was a junior in high school.Then in his senior year was captain of his team. Long arms and speed has made him the Gators defensive tackler. Harvey started all 13 games in his junior year, tackling 49 times and with 31 on those by himself. Had 8 tackles in one game against University of Michigan in the Capital One Bowl. Rival.com has named him 2nd best defensive end in college.Harvey sacked the quarterback 20.5 in his college career, including 51.5 plays behind the line of scrimmage.

Harvey is expecting to be drafted as either a outside pass rusher or a pass rushing specialist. With his speed and arm reach 33 inches he should be a great pick, he's a competitor.
