The DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) was an automobile manufacturer that operated from 1975-1982. The company only ever produced on model of vehicle, the DeLorean DMC-12, a sports car with a stainless steel body and gull-wing doors. The car was famously featured in the Back to the Future trilogy.

DeLorean DMC-12
The only care the DeLorean Motor Company ever produced was the DeLorean DMC-12. It was produced from 1981-1982, after which the company filed for bankruptcy. The company originally produced around 9,000 DMC-12s, of which 6,500 are still operational. A company in Texas restores DeLoreans and plans to start producing them again, making up to 20 a year starting in 2008.
