Rape charges against suburban New York police sergeant David Rodriguez have been dropped, and he has pled guilty to having sexual contact with his 17-year-old accuser.1 Rodriguez, who is married to TV anchorwoman Darlene Rodriguez, met the girl when responding to a domestic disturbance call on February 9, 2008, which resulted in the arrest of her 35-year-old live-in boyfriend. The incident in question took place when Rodriguez returned to her home on the day after the arrest. He had been accused of forcibly raping her, but DNA evidence failed to corroborate charge.1
