Dane Cook is a Massachusetts born stand-up comedian and actor. Since beginning his acting career in 1997, Cook has appeared in over fifteen films. Some of the more well-known ones are Waiting, London, Employee of the Month, Farce of the Penguins, Mr. Brooks and Good Luck Chuck. He can next be seen and heard in Horton Hears a Who and Bachelor No. 2. Cook has released three albums, Harmful If Swallowed, Retaliation and Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden during the course of his career. Retaliation went double-platinum and was the highest selling comedy album in twenty-eight years.

In 2005, Cook faced some controversy when fans of comedian, Louis C.K., noticed similarities between Cook's work and an album released by C.K in 2001. Joe Rogan of Fear Factor fame also claims that Cook stole material he had performed in clubs when Cook was present.
