Dallas debuted on Saturday nights, after it became a regular series. However, within a few weeks it was moved to a slot on Friday night, where it ran for the duration of the show. Dallas was one of the first television shows to be syndicated on a global scale. It holds the American television distinction of being translated into the most languages, having appeared in over 67 languages in 90 countries.
