Daft Punk's Electroma

Electroma is a film directed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, better known as the electronic music duo, Daft Punk. They did not provide the soundtrack, since they intended the film to be their directorial debut. And although initial reviews were mixed, subsequent screenings were well-received.

Directors After All

Since the plot of the movie involves two robots who embark on a quest to become human, it vaguely references the directors' Daft Punk personae: two robots who make music for humans. In spite of this similarity, Bangalter and Homem-Christo neither starred in nor produced music for the film.
