Baltimore DJ K-Swift died in the early morning hours of July 21, 2008, in a swimming pool accident at her home.1 K-Swift, whose real name was Khia Edgerton, worked for Baltimore radio station Radio One 92Q, and had been DJ-ing since the age of 11.1

Life and Career
Edgerton was one of the most popular DJs in Baltimore and the host of 92Q's nighttime program, which aired from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.3 She began working for 92Q when she was only 18, and worked her way up to become a full-time DJ. The circumstances of her death have yet to be officially determined, but it has been reported that she died from head injuries sustained in a swimming pool accident.1
