DJ AM is an entertainment DJ and a former member of Crazy Town. In 2008, he released a mixtape, featuring drummer Travis Barker of Blink 182.1

September 19, 2008 Plane Crash
On September 19, 2008, DJ AM was injured in a plane crash. Both he and Barker were onboard a jet that crashed in South Carolina after a performance. The crash left four people dead; both DJ AM and Barker were severely burned. DJ AM was airlifted to a burn center for treatment. He has been placed in an incubator to reduce chances for infection and is in critical but stable condition4 On September 26, 2008, DJ AM was released from the hospital.5
Career
DJ AM's big break came when Melissa Etheridge hired him as the dj for her 40th birthday party in 2001. Since then he has appeared on albums for artists such as Madonna, Will Smith, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Powerman 5000, Bubba Sparxx, Nikka Costa and Papa Roach.1
