"Cum On Feel The Noize" was a huge hit upon its initial 1973 release in the UK debuting at #1. Slade had a harder time breaking into the American market. The song peaked at #98 on the U.S. charts.
In 1983, the Los Angeles band Quiet Riot released their version of "Cum On Feel The Noize" that peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The brash, catchy song has been recorded by numerous other bands as well including Oasis, the Montreal based group Bran Van 3000 and the Welsh anti-racist skinhead band The Oppressed.
