The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, unveiled at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, is a new high performance car with a price tag of $100,000. It boasts a clear panel in the hood to view the 620-plus horsepower V8 engine, 0-60 miles per hour in first gear capabilities and claims top speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour. Only 338 of the 3,932 Chevrolet dealers in the United States will be permitted to sell it.1
