Corky Ballas
Corky Ballas is a ballroom dancer who retired in 1996. He is also father to Dancing with the Stars dancer Mark Ballas Jr.. He and former wife, Shirley Ballas, have won numerous dance awards and were the "United States International Latin Champions" seven years in a row. Ballas now teaches students to dance and judges professional dance competitions.1
On August 25, 2008, ABC announced Ballas is a contestant on Dancing with the Stars season 7 and is paired with Cloris Leachman.2
