The College Board is an independent, non-profit organization that oversees major standardized tests in the United States. Their exams are tailored towards students in secondary school who plan to move on to college or university programs. The College Board is principally funded by grant money from various organizations. Despite the fact that College Board tests have become standard requirement for almost all college admissions boards, their tests have come under criticism both for its cost and the quality of test results.
