College
College refers to an institute of education beyond high school. What designates a college as such varies slightly among different countries; in some nations, colleges are those institutions that offer two-year undergraduate associates degrees and often specialize in vocational and liberal arts subjects, while universities are research-based schools that offer four-year bachelors degrees, masters degrees and doctorate degrees. However, in the United States, the terms university and college are often used interchangeably to refer to any institution of higher learning.
