Cloned Pit Bulls
Bernann McKinney, of Hollywood, California, lost her pit bull, named "Booger", to cancer in April of 2006. The heartbroken McKinney paid RNL Bio, a South Korean biotech company, $50,000 to replicate her dog. On July 28, 2008, five genetic copies of the deceased pit bull were born.1
