Christopher McCandless

Guide Note:Christopher McCandless was a hiker who died of starvation after wandering out into the Denali National Park in Alaska alone. Author Jon Krakauer has written a book about his journey called Into the Wild. Sean Penn has also directed a film about McCandless under the same title, which opens on September 19, 2007.
