Chick-fil-A is the second largest chicken-based fast food chain in the United States. The company claims to have invented the chicken sandwich at a time when hamburgers were ubiquitous. The Chick-fil-A sandwich comes with two pickles because that was the only condiment on hand when S. Truett Cathy first created it. Cathy decided to keep his restaurants closed on Sunday to give his employees a chance to visit with their families, rest, and worship if they so desire. All Chick-fil-A locations are closed on Sunday.
