The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-size vintage muscle car produced by Chevrolet. The Chevelle made its debut in 1964 and its top trim level, the Chevrolet Malibu, replaced the Chevelle in 1977. It was featured as a NASCAR stock car in the 1970s. 370,834 Chevelle's were made in the first year of production.1
