Charlie Brown Christmas Characters
Many of Peanuts fans' favorite characters are featured in the beloved animated Christmas special A Charlie Brown Christmas. The 1965 television classic was the very first Peanuts special to air for creator Charles M. Schulz, and was the first of many to be helmed by director Bill Melendez.

After becoming depressed when the holiday approaches, he is persuaded to try his hand at directing the school Christmas play. The sad little Christmas tree he selects for the production plays a key role in helping the gang determine what the holidays are really all about.
