Channing Crowder
Professional football linebacker Channing Crowder for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League. On November 23, 2008, Crowder was involved in an on-field scuffle with Matt Light of the New England Patriots. Both players were ejected from the game and fined $15,000 by the league for the incident.1

Football Career
Prior to joining the NFL, Crower played college football with the Florida Gators in 2003 and 2004. He recorded 179 tackles, four sacks and one interception in 20 games with the Gators, earning several awards including All-American, All-SEC and Florida's outstanding linebacker.3 Crowder was selected 70th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. He joined the Dolphins that year for his professional debut, starting 13 games. Crowder continued with the Dolphins through 2007, when he was limited to only 11 games after a knee injury required surgery.2
