Celebrity Solstice

The Solstice is the newest Celebrity Cruises ship. The Celebrity Solstice, which left its dock in Papenburg, Germany on September 29, 2008 can carry almost 3,000 passengers and is one of five planned ships in a new class of ships. The Solstice will first travel to the Netherlands for tests and will then sail across the Atlantic Ocean to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for its maiden voyage in early November.¹
