British newlywed Catherine Mullany was shot and killed on the Caribbean island of Antigua on July 27, 2008. Her husband, Benjamin Mullany, was wounded during the apparent robbery attempt on the couple's final day of their honeymoon.1 2
While Mullany's husband was in a coma following the shooting, hospital officials announced that Benjamin Mullany had died on August 3, 2008.3
