Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, the MMORG from developer EA Mythic, will be released on September 18, 2008. The game is set in the fantasy world of the Warhammer table top games, and will attempt to carve out a niche for itself in the crowded MMO market.
Unlike other iterations of the genre, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning takes place in a world entirely dominated by war. There are no peaceful pastimes or distractions; every character, mission and motivation works towards fighting and war. In fact, entire cities can be razed to the ground in the game.
