Caspain Sea Summit
October 16, 2007, Tehran, Iran: The leaders of the five states bordering the Caspian Sea, including Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, met in Tehran for a series of talks.
The assembled group are considering a non-proliferation treaty and have issued an implicit warning to the U.S. about potential action against Iran.
A summit declaration stated that "under no circumstances will they allow (the use of their) territories by third countries to launch aggression or other military action against any of the member states."
