Casey Anthony Trunk
Lab results have found evidence proving decomposition in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. Anthony is the mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony.1 In a forensic report released October 24, 2008, air and carpet samples revealed decomposition evidence through odor analysis and chemical tests.
The tests revealed the presence of "the five key major compounds associated with human decomposition."2 Large amounts of chloroform were found in the trunk, but trace amounts of chloroform were also found on a control carpet sample. A spokesman for Anthony's attorney has said that these forensics do not link her to any criminal behavior.2
