A New York art exhibit by former model Caron Bernstein features paintings that depict traumatic events in her life. Bernstein has described her art as "surrealism combined with anime".

The exhibit, which opened at a gallery in Chelsea in May of 2008, includes a painting that documents Bernstein's rape by an ex-boyfriend. The painting "777" shows a man pointing a gun at his head. Bernstein has said it refers to the 1998 suicide of her brother, Peter Bernstein.
