Call of Duty 4 Walkthrough

Prologue
Level 1 - F.N.G
- As the game starts, grab a rifle off the table and head over to the firing range. Begin shooting the targets as instructed.
- Once you've finished shooting the targets, go to the armory and retrieve a handgun, cut open the watermelon, and then go outside.
- Walk past the tank into the hanger where you'll find your team waiting for you - wait for orders from Captain Price.
- Once Price is finished, climb the ladder to reach the observation deck and trade your gun for the MP5 and four flashbangs that are sitting on the supply chest.
- Climb down the rope and follow Price's orders as you work your way through this stage. You must complete this in less than 60 seconds to pass.
- Tip: Gaz holds the record at 20 seconds - beat his time to receive the New Squadron Record.
- In the room at the end of the rope, shoot three targets behind the windows directly in front of you and keep running to the right.
- Walk behind the wall and into the room where the targets were. You will find a set of steps - climb down them and shoot the target that appears at the bottom.
- Walk left until you come across a room - kill the two enemies inside.
- Once again, walk left through a doorway, throw in a flashbang, and shoot the targets that appear.
- Tip: Be sure to turn away when the flashbang goes off or you will blind yourself.
- Finally, turn left one last time, throw a flashbang, and then shoot two more enemies in the next room - DO NOT go into the last room.
- Immediately turn right and sprint forward, following the arrows that are on the floor until you reach the red circle.
- After hearing your time, head over to the monitors in the corner of the room for your next set of instructions.
- With the 'practice' level now complete, you get to pick the difficulty you wish to play the rest of the game at. A suggestion will be offered based on your performance.
Level 2 - Crew Expendable

- After the short intro movie, you'll find yourself in a helicopter flying towards the ship. Use this time to look around.
- Follow your crew out of the helicopter and onto the ship. Kill the crew members through the glass in front of you.
- Two of your teammates will break the door down. Follow them in as they clear the area. Shoot the man in the hallway.
- Enter the room to your right. Kill the two sleeping crew members. The first of 30 intel (1/30) sits on a table next to the crew members - retrieve it before continuing.
- Head back outside with your team and take down any crew members you meet on your way across the ship.
- You'll eventually come to a door. Once it is cleared, head inside. Make your way down the hallways. You will encounter a small group of crew members - shoot them.
- Price will kick a door open. Follow him up the stairs and to the walkway. Shoot the crew members below.
- Follow your team down the stairs. At the bottom and immediately to the left will be an open grate with red smog. On the grate will be enemy intel (2/30).
- TIP: The next room you encounter will have the largest number of enemies. Take cover behind the box in front of you and use your grenades to hit the enemies on the left side of the room. Work your way forward, killing any crew members visible. Once you reach the opposite side of the room, turn left and finish off the enemies.
- Once cleared, your team will open the cargo box to find the object. Grab the manifest as instructed.
- On the way out of the ship, an explosion will temporarily disorient you. Follow your team out of the ship and to the helicopter.
Level 3 - The Coup
- You're a different person in this level. You're tossed into the back of a car where all you can do is look around.
ACT I
Level 1 - Blackout

- Walk forward until you come across two guards and shoot them with the silenced M4 gun so you don't alert the other two guards.
- Continue forward towards the building. Shoot the two guards through the first window. Inside the building is intel (3/30).
- Follow your team up the hill and walk under the bridge. To your right will be a series of houses. You need to kill two enemies talking inside the first house with its lights on - crouch below the edge of the porch and shoot them.
- Immediately turn left and shoot two more enemies hiding behind the next building's porch.
- The third house in the row will have a long series of steps. Follow Price into the house and out into the corn fields where you'll be greeted by Russian soldiers from your right - don't shoot them.
- Follow the Russian Sargent up the hill and listen to his instructions. When you reach the top, go left under a metal structure until you're on a small pathway with a fence. Take cover with your sniper rifle and begin picking enemies off when ordered.
- When given the command, take out the gunners.
- Once finished, follow your team forward into a burning building and back outside at the other end.
- Take cover behind a rock and shoot the enemy targets charging down the hill.
- Tip: When you have a chance, move left. There are buildings that offer better cover.
- Once cleared, run up the hill and down to the opening in the fence, using your sniper rifle to aid the Russian troops.
- Follow Price back up the hill and to the old power station. Rappel down the wall and continue to shoot enemy troops while following your team.
- Jump the wall and head into the open building to your right. There will be three enemies inside. Take them down.
- Once the building is clear, use it as cover and shoot the enemies in the next building immediately in front of you. As soon as you can, run to the next building and throw in a grenade to kill the hidden enemies.
- Price and the rest of your team will come running in behind you. Run forward out of the second building and up the hill.
- Tip: Put on your night vision while waiting for Price to catch up with you.
- Price will open the door. Follow behind him. In the first doorway to your left will be an enemy. Shoot him and then continue behind Price, taking out anyone you see. Head upstairs.
- TIP: Throw a flashbang into every room before clearing it.
- In the bathroom on the second floor will be enemy intel (4/30).
- After finding Nikolai, follow Price outside, take off your night vision, and run for the helicopter.
Level 2 - Charlie Don't Surf
- Use the time in the helicopter to take a look around and ready your gun.
- Rappel down the rope and follow your team to the target door. Wait for the charge to blow it open. As soon as the door is open, shoot the two enemies to the front and left inside the room.
- Enter the other doorway in the room and walk down the steps. Use your sniper rifle to shoot visible enemies, then back yourself up into the stairwell with the rest of your team. Wait for the enemies to run into the stairwell before shooting them.
- Once enemies stop entering the stairwell, head into the room and take cover behind behind one of the boxes. There is a door in the far back corner of the room to the left. Throw a grenade into it, and then prepare to shoot enemies that come running out - once cleared, enter it to find enemy intel (5/30).
- Move to your right. An enemy soldier will appear from one of the two other doors - shoot him and throw a grenade into the other one.
- Clear the rooms and then follow your team back out of the building.
- Outside you will find a half-wall to your right. Enter it and shoot the enemies on top of the roof directly in front of you. Move right between the two buildings and then immediately turn left until you're in an open area. Take cover immediately.
- Throw a grenade forward and to your left, and then shoot the enemies hiding to your immediate left. Head forward into the alley where you threw the grenade and shoot the rest of the enemies.
- TIP: There is cover to the right if you need it.
- As you walk, look for an open door with a flight of stairs inside. At the top of the stairs is enemy intel (6/30).
- Get back to ground level and turn left. Head for the hill. You'll be shot at by enemy infantry - shoot them with your sniper rifle.
- Go to the second building from the south and climb to the roof. You'll find a enemy intel (7/30).
- Continue following your team until you reach the target building. Head to the side door with your two team mates and wait for them to blow the door open. Inside, follow Vasquez through the hallway to the right.
- Navigate to the end of the halls. On you right will be a large room. Shoot the enemy targets through the windows.
- Enter the next room and use the cubicles for cover - throw a grenade directly in front of you over the cubicles to take out most of the enemies. Keep moving forward and to the right.
- In the TV room, move left and throw a grenade at the only door on the wall. Shoot the enemy that appears, and then enter the room to use as cover.
- Throw a grenade in the back of the room where you just came from to clear it. No enemy targets will come to the back of the room, so you're clear to move around between the two.
- Once cleared, follow Vasquez to the lobby and up the steps. At the top up the steps, go into the door immediately in front of you and collect the two guns to your right in between the two windows.
- Continue moving forward out the door and onto the roof.
- On the roof, turn left and enter the patio doors, then turn right and run up the staircase.
- Follow your team forward and jump the buildings. Enter the open door to your left and follow the hallway until you reach a dead end. Wait for Vasquez to blow the door open.
- Clear the room and hold position to finish the level.
Level 3 - The Bog

- The level starts with you running on a bridge. Sprint straight ahead and crouch behind a flipped car for cover. Enemies will start firing from the building to your right. Shoot at them with your sniper rifle until Vasquez orders you to the stairs.
- As you move forward, four enemies are hiding behind a half-wall. Throw a grenade behind it, and then shoot whoever remains.
- Run under the hole in the building to your right, and then take another right and run up the stairs.
- TIP: At the top of the stairs turn right and throw a grenade in the door. After it detonates, throw another in and back up. Your team should have caught up with you by now. Enter the room and shoot anyone who's still alive.
- At the end of the room, turn left and walk through the hole in the wall. Kill the enemy to your left, and then do a 180 and throw a grenade in the room behind you.
- Make your way back into the hallway and head in the direction you came. Your men will be clearing rooms. Enter the room being cleared. On the table will be intel (8/30).
- At the end of the hall you'll find a staircase that will lead you to ground level. Go down it and take off your night vision.
- Work your way left, shooting anyone who comes near you. When ordered to take out the tanks, run into the open area where all the fighting is happening. You'll see a Javelin rocket launcher flashing yellow. Grab it.
- TIP: Using the rocket launcher, first take out the snipers on the bridge overhead, or you'll likely be killed before getting the tanks.
- Point the rocket launcher at the first tank and wait for it to lock onto the green squares. As soon as it locks, fire. Do this with all four.
- Once the tanks are cleared, follow your team through the hole in the fence. To the left will be an open area. Head that way, then turn left at a refrigerator. Behind some random boxes you'll find intel (9/30). Move back out to join your team.
- You will eventually enter an open field - take cover behind something large. Take out enemies as you make your way right.
- After the area's been cleared enough you'll get orders to take out the AAA gun. You have to do this so the helicopter can land.
- Head for the gun - it will be the biggest firing device in the area. You can only access it through the building to its left. There will be three enemies inside. Throw a grenade through the window or door, and then take out the gunner.
- TIP: Plant C4 on the AAA, take cover and then detonate it.
- Sprint back into the open field and start moving forward and left. You need to plant the beacon for the helicopter to find you. Look for the yellow circle shining on the ground and plant the beacon there.
- Take cover and let the helicopter shoot the enemies.
- Turn around and run in the opposite direction. Follow your team to the tank.
Level 4 - Hunted
- After you recover from the helicopter crash, grab a few guns off the ground near the wreckage.
- TIP: We suggest the M2911 - it has a scope, which you will need.
- Follow Price down the hill and hide under the bridge until the helicopter passes. Continue upward and into the building at the top. You'll see an enemy harassing an old man - point your gun on him and fire when Price gives the command.
- Jump the fence to your right. Sprint forward until Price tells you to drop. Lay flat behind a hay barrel until the helicopter passes.
- Sprint further downhill and get cover. To the left a military vehicle will stop and begin shooting at you. Hold the enemy off while Gaz opens the cellar door.
- Run to the back of the room and up the stairs. Run through the first doorway and take position outside the second. Enemy soldiers will enter through a door on the other side of the room and throw in a flashbang. After it goes off, shoot the enemy and follow Price out the door.
- Back outside, the house with a soda machine in front of it has enemy intel (10/30) inside .
- Exit the house and turn right, heading down the path towards a barn. Stop where the paths intersect.
- As soon as you hear barking, throw a grenade in front of you and then immediately turn around and shoot two dogs who are coming after you. As soon as they are dead, turn around again and finish off any dogs that didn't get hit by the grenade.
- Finish off the enemy with your rifle.
- Tip: If you can, get to an upper balcony of one of the buildings and assume a sniper position.
- Follow Price through the gate and down the stream. Hide in the brush to the right when Price says to get down.
- Once in the open field, hide behind the hay barrels. Slowly work your way forward when the enemy patrols aren't looking. As the patrols get closer, crouch down in the high grass and stay close to the hay.
- It will appear that you're clear when one of the patrols notice you. Shoot the handful that are still in the area, then follow Price into the greenhouse.
- At the other end of the greenhouse, throw a grenade in front of you over the farm equipment to hit a large number of enemies.
- Shoot the hostiles that appear in the second greenhouse entrance to your right. Now, throw a grenade forward and left to hit the rest of the opposition.
- Move into the building to your left when Price does and continue to shoot enemies. #When you exit the other side of the building, there will be a barn to your right, and a pile of barrels near you - enemy intel (11/30) will be on the barrels.
- Tip: The helicopter will be searching for you, so stay low. Try to shoot the helicopter occupants.
- Run into the barn and throw a grenade to take out the man in front of you. Another enemy will be on top of the rig to your right.
- Pick up the Stinger as instructed and aim for the helicopter. When you get a solid sound, fire. The first shot will miss because of the dropped flares, but the second will hit it.
- Swap the Stinger for your old gun and follow Price up the ramp and outside. Stop when Price does and wait for allied assault. Once the air assault is finished, run between the burning tanks to complete the mission.
Level 5 - Death from above

- In this level you'll be manning a gunship. Keep the IR vision on and don't shoot blinking targets - they are friendlies. Also, do not fire directly on the church.
- You have three different guns to choose from. Use the cannon to hit the cars and the group of enemies that run into the open field. Use the other two to pick off individuals.
- After a while, an ally helicopter will arrive and lift the friendlies to safety.
Level 6 - War Pig
- As soon as the level starts, take cover behind the car in front of you. Take out the enemies forward and to the left first using a gun with a scope, and make sure there is no one left around the bus.
- Run behind the bus you just cleared. Behind a blue cargo container will be three RPGs. Around this time you will hear the announcement of any enemy ship getting ready to land. Use the RPGs to shoot it before the enemies can rappel out.
- Follow the tank that appears to your right. Stay to the right side and shoot the RPGs gunners on the rooftops to protect the tank.
- Once you reach the wire gate, climb up the dumpster on the right and jump the wall. Turn to your immediate right and follow it forward, shooting any who appears from the left.
- Take the stairs to the right instead of following your men into the front room. At the top in the first room on the left has enemy intel on a stand (12/30).
- Go back down the steps and join your men, staying to the right side for cover. A large group of hostiles will emerge from a road on the left side. Throw a couple grenades there. At about this time a group will also appear in front of you. Shoot them, and then shoot the rest of the group to the left.
- The tank will eventually come to a stop.
- Tip: If things get too out of control, use one of the RPGs you have left from the helicopter to blast a group of hostiles.
- When the tank comes to a stop, enter the building directly behind it and clear the rooms on the second floor. One of them holds enemy intel (13/30).
- Once the firing quiets, jump to ground level and walk into the building on the left side of the street. When you reach the back wall, turn right. You'll come up to a dumpster. Throw two or three grenades over it to hit hiding enemies, then engage the rest with your rifle.
- Two soldiers will push the dumpster forwards. Follow them into the building. A ground level room will have a machine gun - in this room is enemy intel (14/30).
- Run up the stairs to join your team.
- An enemy tank will appear. Ignore it and take out individual enemies - the tank will explode within seconds under friendly fire.
- Jump to ground level and wait around with your team for the helicopter to land.
Level 7 - Shock and Awe

- You're now a gunner in a helicopter. Begin shooting any vehicles you can while passing over the bridges, as most are antiaircraft vehicles. Once you reach the buildings, the first one will have an RPG gunner on the roof. Shoot it before he shoots or you'll die.
- After the first building you'll see a bridge in the far background - shoot the vehicles on it, as they are antiaircraft.
- The last of the next three buildings will have a handful of enemies with RPGs. Shoot once at the right side and then pelt the left side to get the rest of them.
- The open area will have two antiaircraft vehicles on the ground and three RPG units on different buildings. Hit the vehicles first, as the RPGs don't fire for several seconds. The helicopter will then turn - you have to take out a couple more RPGs and vehicles before it will land.
- Three tanks will pass before your helicopter takes off again. When it lands a second time, get off and sprint with your fellow soldiers into the building.
- Clear the first floor and follow the team upstairs. In the corner at the top of the stairs you'll find enemy intel (15/30).
- Shoot a few enemies in the distance while on the second level, and then drop to ground level.
- Take cover behind the debris in front of you. Move right and throw a grenade into the open door, then shoot the enemies in the upper windows of the building.
- Run into the door you just cleared and shoot anyone who emerges. Work you way upstairs. An enemy hostile will be hiding behind the doorway on your right. Shoot him and then move left. Once cleared, find a closet and nab the intel inside (16/30).
- Jump back to ground level and continue shooting enemies until given the order to move. Follow your team back to the helicopter. Enter the helicopter and man the gun at the front.
- There will be a couple of enemies in the first alley you pass, shoot them. The helicopter will eventually land and you'll move out to find the pilot of the downed helicopter.
- Run down the street directly in front of you as you exit the helicopter. You will need to grab the pilot off the downed helicopter and drag her to safety. Shoot the enemy who appears to your left, then sprint for the wreckage and grab the pilot. Sprint back the direction you came and get back into the helicopter.
- After you're in the helicopter, shoot enemy fighters while your team boards.
- Hang on for the ride.
ACT II
Level 1 - Safehouse
- Follow Price up the dirt road. Keep your eyes to the left - once you see the bell tower, take cover. Shots will be fired in the distance to distract you, then enemy fighters will appear at the white fence. Throw a grenade up there and start shooting.
- As soon as you can, work your way up into the bell tower. You'll find an M1014 sniper rifle in the top. Use it to shoot enemies.
- Once you hear the call for air support, get back to ground level and join your team. In the first building you enter you'll find a machine gun in the window of the room to your right. You can use this to hit enemies.
- Move upstairs and throw a grenade at the door on the left, then move back down. Enemies will run down the steps - shoot them. Move up and finish clearing the floor. On the dresser you'll find enemy intel (17/30).
- When you get the order, sprint towards the second marked building. Throw a grenade behind the burning vehicles in front of you to hit hiding enemies, then turn left and run up the dirt path. You'll see a car to your right, use it as cover until your team arrives.
- Throw grenades into the open doors and windows of the building to hit as many enemies as you can. As soon as it's clear, charge through the first door and throw a grenade behind the table, then get out. The grenade will hit several of the enemies. Now follow your team in. You'll be under heavy fire.
- Once the first floor is cleared, grab enemy intel (18/30) off the booth and head upstairs. You'll find an RPG - grab it and then get back to ground level with your team.
- Switch to a sniper rifle and enter the fenced area. Wait for the building to be marked. When it is, enemies will appear, shooting at you. Use the fence as cover while you shoot them.
- The first chance you get, run forwards out of the fence and to the left, taking cover behind the building. Throw a grenade into the open zone to your left while your team takes care of the rest.
- When you get a chance, move forward and left, entering the building you were using for cover. Run up the stairs and use the window to shoot enemies below.
- Stay in the barn until you see Price run past. Follow him to the target building. Hold back for this part - Price will throw in a grenade, take out the guards, and then take care of Al-Asad.
Level 2 - All Ghillied Up

- This level takes place 15 years in the past. You'll be in the Ukraine following MacMillan.
- MacMillan will announce the presence of two patrols - hit the ground behind him. Take out one of the guards with a silenced weapon when the other isn't looking. MacMillan will take out the other.
- Follow him around the building - don't shoot at the enemies in the house. The guard at the back will be left up to you. Shoot him.
- Hop the fence. When MacMillan asks if you have a shot on the soldier in the tower, take him out, then climb up it to find enemy intel (19/30). Exit the tower. You'll be given the option to take out the patrol guard - shoot him.
- Follow MacMillan out the back of the church and get under some brush to hide from the approaching helicopter. Continue to follow him.
- TIP: At this point, always stay behind MacMillan. He will tell you when to hit the ground. Drop when ordered or you'll be spotted. Crawl towards a tree to your upper left and stay there until the troops pass. Do not resume movement until MacMillan gives the orders.
- TIP: At the tractors you'll be given the choice to either kill the enemy soldiers or sneak past them. I suggest killing them. Wait for the targets to separate. One will look down at his feet - shoot him. Move to the next soldier and shoot him.
- Follow MacMillan's orders regarding the last two soldiers. Wait for him to get in position and then fire.
- MacMillan will tell you to stay back while he takes care of the patrol guard. While he's busy, drop to the ground and crawl between the two cargo containers. On top of barrels in the enemy camp will be intel (20/30) - shoot the sleeping soldier or he will get you. Grab the intel, then get back to MacMillan.
- Follow MacMillan, taking care to avoid more patrols. When instructed, sprint behind MacMillan and crawl under the truck, pause and then crawl under the second truck that appears.
- When instructed, once again sprint for cover.
- MacMillan will eventually instruct you to snipe a guard on the 4th floor fire escape. After doing so, run up the fire escape and jump in the window on the 4th floor to find enemy intel (21/30).
- Go back down and join MacMillan by jumping through the window on the second floor, then follow him out the balcony and to the ground below.
- Don't shoot the dog, just follow MacMillan around it - the dog will growl and bark, but won't come after you.
- Just keep following MacMillan until the level ends.
Level 3 - One Shot, One Kill
- You'll start at the head of the gun, taking aim at Zakhaev. Listen to MacMillan carefully. You'll need to aim so that both Zakhaev and the flag are in your sight. Aim a little in the opposite direction the flash is blowing to compensate for wind. #You'll have a clear shot at one point but the helicopter will get in your way. Just as it seems too late, you'll get a clear shot. Take him out, and then take out the helicopter pilot to get additional time.
- Immediately turn around and run forward and to the right. Rappel down the side of the building ahead of MacMillan or you'll die in the explosion.
- Sprint after MacMillan. As soon as you reach the cars, a group of soldiers will appear from the upper right. Throw a grenade there and start shooting.
- When MacMillan tells you to run, head left under the trees and then head forward and right. MacMillan will catch up with you - use this time to recover from wounds you probably received.
- Follow him through the hallway. When he jumps the first window, shoot the dog to the left behind the fence, and then continue after MacMillan. Kill all the soldiers in the open area between the two buildings.
- The helicopter will fly in from the left. You need to take out the pilot with your sniper rifle. As soon as the plane is hit, sprint right to get out of the crash path.
- Turn back around and grab MacMillan from under the blade. Run through the gate and put him down on the right side near the cars. Take out the soldiers that appear, then grab MacMillan and turn left, running past some burning junk and a car. Head for the apartment as instructed.
- Take the doorway on the right, then turn right again and run up the ramp, then immediately turn left into the room and run for the stairs. Turn into the open room on the right and put MacMillan down.
- A dog will appear across the room, shoot it. A soldier is waiting in the hallway to the right. After you kill him, there's another dog and soldier in the next room - throw in a grenade, then shoot them.
- Grab MacMillan and head out the door in the back room. Once you're on the ground level, put MacMillan down and climb up the nearby fire escape. At the top is enemy intel (22/30).
- Climb back down and get MacMillan. Go left up the stairs, then left again up the stairs and into the building. Turn right and head down a tiled hallway. You will enter into a room with an empty pool - there will be a pack of dogs in the pool, ignore them. Place MacMillan down and take out the two patrols walking in the yard.
- Jump down and head towards the ferris wheel to the right. This is the hardest point of the level. You must hold position until the helicopter gets to you. Place MacMillan down in the grass behind the ferris wheel and take his claymore.
- Place the C4 around the grouping of vehicles - this is where the helicopters will drop additional troops. Now, find a place to snipe from.
- Tip: Lay in the grass to MacMillan's left. This will give you a good view of the enemy.
- Don't blow the C4 until it's time to dash for the helicopter. Try to take out the additional troops as their dropped off. If you get hit, throw a grenade to buy time.
- Start firing when ordered. Once the enemy helicopter drops off reinforcements, blow the C4. To your right a door will open on a building. Run into the alley to retrieve enemy intel (23/30).
- Once the helicopter lands, take out anyone close and then grab MacMillan and run. Once you're on the plane, you have a couple seconds to reload before getting ambushed. Throw several grenades out into the group of fighters and then start shooting until you're safely away.
Level 4 - Heat

- In this level you're back in the present following Price's orders.
- The level will start with you running. While following your team switch to a sniper rifle. Stay behind Price so you can drop to the ground when he does.
- Hidden explosives will take out most of the enemy - shoot the rest.
- When given the fall-back order, turn around and run back up the hill and to the downed plane. Enter it and man the minigun. Hold the trigger while it warms up. Enemies will advance from the left, so begin shooting them as soon as the gun is warmed. Eventually enemy helicopters will enter, shoot them down.
- Abandon the minigun when ordered and head back in the direction you came. Turn left and run up the dirt path to the tavern. Enter through the door with the stairs - your team will join you shortly. Grab the detonators and blow the C4.
- You'll hear the announcement of enemy tanks. Exit the tavern and run further uphill until you see a red barn. Turn right and then turn left through the open fence. Sprint down the cobble path to the barn where you captured Al-Asad. Find the Javelin and use it to blow up the four enemy tanks.
- After the tanks are destroyed, switch back to the sniper rifle and kill the enemy approaching from the direction of the tanks.
- Eventually you'll get orders to head downhill. Call in an air strike and move left, keeping covered. You have to make it the landing zone before the plane runs out of gas.
- When you near the checkpoint enemy troops will run up the hill. Throw a couple of grenades down and shoot the enemies that are near you. Keep running, taking cover only when you have to.
- Continue to run downhill until you see the helicopter. Enter the back and reload your gun. The rest of your team will enter shortly.
Level 5 - The Sins of the Father
- Follow the team through the junkyard. Jump on top of the dumpster and take aim at the guard on the right in the tower. When Price gives the order, shoot him and the immediately shoot the other guard.
- Jump off the dumpster and head right, joining your team again. Take cover behind a barrel and use your sniper rifle to pick off the enemy.
- After the area's secure, run into the diner on your right. On one of the tables to your left will be enemy intel (24/30). Get back outside.
- After the two hours are up you'll be in the tower with a soldier. Switch to a gun with a scope and wait for the convoys to appear. Shoot the driver of the jeep when ordered.
- Quickly shoot the soldiers around the jeep.
- Your tower will collapse and you'll hit the ground. While dazed you'll see the target run past you. As soon as you can, take off after him.
- When you reach the end of the junkyard a guard dog will appear from the door. Kill it.
- Tip: You get gamer points for breaking it's neck instead of shooting it.
- Once you reach the road, sprint to the right. Enter the first open building on your left and use it as cover while you fire at enemy troops. After your team arrives, start sprinting forward again.
- Follow Gaz down the alley to the left. You'll be warned about hostiles behind the fence - instead of shooting them, turn right. Throw a grenade around the wall and then shoot the present enemy. Now, sprint up the stairs on the building to your right. There will be two men in the room - shoot them.
- Look out the first window on your left - you'll see enemy soldiers hiding. Shoot them with your sniper. Turn around and grab enemy intel (25/30) and then head back down to ground level.
- At the bottom of the steps turn right and then immediately turn right again. More enemies will appear, so get low and shoot them. To your right will be two snipers on a roof - shoot them.
- Run towards the building that the two snipers were shooting from. Turn right and then almost immediately turn left into an alley. Throw a grenade and shoot the remaining hostiles. Turn left and throw more grenades. There will be several shooters hiding behind the dumpsters.
- Run up the stone steps and take cover behind the stone wall. A machine gun will shoot at you - wait for the Blackhawk to take it out before moving again.
- Enter the building in front of you and work your way to the second level. Enemies will ambush you from the left - throw a grenade to slow them down. Once cleared, move up to the third floor. Find cover in one of the rooms while the Blackhawk shoots the enemies for you.
- As soon as it's clear sprint for the roof. You'll get there in time to see the target kill himself.
ACT III
Level 1 - Ultimatum

- The beginning of the final act shows Zakhaev and his ultimatum now that his son is dead.
- Once you hit the ground, run towards your group to get situated. The team will need to head southwest to locate Griggs.
- A vehicle will appear ahead of you - shoot the driver and keep moving.
- Once you're past the vehicle, move right into the trees. Switch to a gun with a scope. Enemy targets will appear ahead and to your right. Use the trees as cover while you take them down.
- Once cleared, sprint behind Gaz to the door. Price will kick it in, so wait for him to catch up.
- Follow Price up the stairs to the left. Do not shoot the man in the upstairs room - Price will slit his throat. Turn left and clear the floor.
- Move up to the second level. The room in front of you will have a man sleeping. Slit his throat, then turn left and knife the man that appears. Avoid shooting unless necessary.
- Follow Price downstairs and plant C4 outside the door. If all goes well, you'll quietly take out the patrols and the rest of the enemy groups will run into your explosives. If you make noise, however, they will hear you and about a dozen hostiles will appear, along with attack dogs. If this happens, start shooting and throw a grenade or two.
- Once cleared, follow Price into the next building. The ground level is clear, move upstairs. At the top, turn right and head towards the black door. Wait for Gaz to blow it open. Inside is one hostile - shoot him, but be careful not to hit Griggs. Cut Griggs free.
- Get to ground level and head towards the tower. Hit the ground whenever enemy helicopters pass.
- Place charges on two legs of the tower where indicated and get a safe distance away. Detonate them when instructed.
- Head towards the fence and wait for Gaz to spray it open. Sprint down the field. Enemy helicopters will land ahead.
- Follow half the team over the wall. Directly in front of you will be two supply chests. Swap your gun for the sniper on the first chest.
- As soon as you enter the open building, enemy troops will sneak in at your left. Start firing upon them before they get too close. More troops will be dropped off via the helicopters, and enemy RPGs will be on the rooftops.
- As the enemy hostiles rappel from the helicopter, throw several grenades on the ground under them, then start firing. Continue shooting until all the enemies are neutralized. Once clear, enter the building with the open garage for enemy intel (26/30).
- Two missiles will be launched. Run after your team to prepare for the next mission.
Level 2 - All In
- You'll start the level sprinting. Follow your team through the hole in the fence and cut right. Run to the edge of the cargo container and snipe the two men to your left - one on ground level and one on top of a cargo unit.
- RPGs will start firing from the rooftops. Use your sniper to hit as many of them as you can.
- Move back towards the hole in the fence. One of your teammates will throw a smoke bomb. Run through the smoke and plant C4 on the back of the vehicle that's leaving. Get back and detonate it.
- Follow your team forward. Stay low to avoid getting shot. While your team ducks behind cars and fires at the enemy, run forward into the open building. On the far left wall between two boxes will be an RPG - grab it.
- Switch back to a sniper and take out as many of the enemy targets as possible.
- Keep following your team forward - stay low or you will die. At one point a soldier will blow open a gate - before entering it, go behind the building across from the gate to the south. You'll find ammo and enemy intel (27/30).
- You'll eventually hear an order to find RPGs to take out the BMPs. Switch to the RPG you picked up previously and take out the tanks. If you missed the RPG, wait for smoke to surround the tank, then run up and plant C4. Get away fast and detonate it.
- Head to your right in the open area. Get behind barrels and take out enemies until you see smoke - run through it and plant C4 on the second BMP. Get away and detonate it.
- Now turn right into the open garage. On the right side in the middle will be enemy intel (28/30).
- You'll see a vent open outside the building. Run past it and join your team. Price and Gaz will be cutting open a vent - cover them, enemy hostiles will appear from the right.
- Rappel down the open vent as soon as you can.
Level 3 - No Fighting in the War Room

- Watch the opening video carefully to see the general layout of where you're heading.
- Once the level starts, follow Griggs through the ventilation shafts. You'll eventually meet up with Price - follow the two men down the opening and into the shower room.
- Follow Price until he stops at a door and looks around the corner. You will have to go ahead. Turn towards the flashing yellow light. Enemies will come running from the left. Throw a grenade or two into the room. A hostile will be hiding behind the doorway on the right, so be prepared to take him out.
- Continue running forward instead of turning right. You'll eventually see a dark room on your left - inside is enemy intel (29/30) sitting on a table.
- After you have the intel, continue moving forward. You'll need to stay low and take out the enemies quickly.
- Tip: If you're playing on a harder setting than regular difficulty, you only have 11 minutes to abort the missiles.
- Follow Price down the steps - at the bottom, you'll notice an interesting game glitch where dead men hang in the air.
- Turn left into the hallway. Do not walk down the middle, stay to the right or left. This section is full of ambushes, so throw flashbangs before they can get you. There will be men hiding in the sections to both the left and the right. Throw grenades over crates to take them out.
- You'll get a warning that countdown has been initiated. You need to move fast. Switch to the most powerful gun you have and use a combination of shooting and grenade throwing to mow your way down the hallway. Enemies will appear from every corner, so watch the shadows and boxes.
- You'll eventually reach the security room doors. Price will shut the blast door behind you. You'll all wait around while Gaz opens the security doors. They will open incredibly slow, irritating Price.
- As soon as there's enough space, throw a grenade into the room. This will draw out the enemies - start shooting them while the doors slowly open.
- Don't enter the room immediately. Throw two or three more grenades and shoot everyone who runs at the door.
- Enter the room and move immediately right. Enemies will shoot at you from the first hallway on the left. Throw a flashbang to blind them and then go charging in, taking everyone out.
- If you need a breather to reload and recover, duck into a small doorway almost immediately to your right, before you reach the end of the hall - it's clear.
- Your team will clear the rest of the room, then enter the small area with you. Plant the C4 where indicated and detonate it.
- Run into the room, shooting everyone in sight. There are only a handful, so don't bother with cover. Move to the control room at the top left of the room - there will be a man hiding. Shoot him.
- In the breached control room you'll find the final piece of enemy intel (30/30).
- Run back down the middle aisle towards the big screen. There will be a flashing keyboard on the left. Use it to enter the abort codes.
- As soon as you're given the all clear, follow Price back out the way you came. More enemy soldiers will appear, shoot them.
- Get in the elevator. It will take you up. Exit towards the vehicle depot. Clear it to finish the level.
Level 4 - Game Over
- This level starts out fast-paced. You're on the back of a truck heading into civilian roads. Two enemy trucks are right behind you.
- Switch to a gun that shoots fast and take cover behind the crate on the truck. The enemy trucks will move to the left of the vehicle (your right). Start shooting them. There will be an RPG on the back truck - take him out first or you're dead.
- After exiting the first tunnel, one of the trucks will crash. The second will crash shortly after. The helicopter is now your main priority.
- Use the RPG next to you to try to take down the helicopter. It will disappear, but then reappear in time to destroy the bridge you're heading towards.
- Once you regain control of your person, follow Price off the collapsing bridge. Take cover behind the destroyed cars and start throwing grenades straight ahead. You'll be fully attacked by a couple dozen enemy soldiers - stay low.
- You'll eventually get knocked out. You will be stunned for several seconds and forced to watch Griggs get shot next to you, followed by the rest of your team.
- Zakhaev will come walking down the bridge with two soldiers. His men will kill two of your wounded teammates. An ally helicopter will destroy theirs, momentarily drawing their attention skyward.
- Price is to your left, injured. He will slide his pistol to you. Grab it and shoot Zakhaev, then quickly dispatch his two soldiers.
- Russian soldiers will rappel down and prepare you to get hoisted into the helicopter. Unfortunately, you watch a Russian soldier attempt to, and fail at, keeping Price alive.
- The game ends with bitter victory as you realize you're the only member of your team still alive.
Epilogue
Level 1 - Mile High Club
- If you want to play this level, which does not seem to be part of the rest of the game, you have to wait through the credits.
- Move down towards the cabin, shooting the terrorists as fast as possible. When you reach the cabin, throw a flashbang in and then shoot the enemies through the seats.
- Move upstairs. Throw a grenade or flashbang into the room, then start shooting. Move forward.
- Eventually you'll come to a set of white doors. They will kick open with a terrorist threating to slit the hostage's throat. Switch to your pistol and shoot the terrorist in the head.
- The door will be blown open and one of your men will grab the hostage.
- Jump out the door to complete the mission.
