Call of Duty is a first-person shooter and is a series of video games developed by Infinity Ward. Their latest game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was released November 6, 2007.

Story
The game is set in WWII. Players must control a soldier and work together with the computer AI and complete various missions.
Gameplay
Call of Duty is a first-person shooter where players can re-enact WWII. In single-player campaign, players are joined by computer controlled allies that will support the player during the missions. Players will switch between US, British, and Russian soldiers that will end in the storming of Berlin.1 During battle if a bomb goes off anywhere near the player, the character will experience "shellshock." The character's vision will be blurred, he will move slower, and other sounds will be muffled. There is also a multiplayer mode and there are five different modes:
- Deathmatch
- Team deathmatch
- Behind enemy lines - sets number of players in the Allied and Axis teams
- Search and destroy
- Retrieval - one team finds and retrieves an object
