Butters Stotch
Member Note
The most wholesome of all the South Park kids, Leopold "Butters" Stotch didn't become a regular character until season five, although he was featured as a minor character in many previous episodes. Naive, polite and eager to please, Butters is often on the receiving end of practical jokes and is easily peer pressured by the other children (especially Eric Cartman) into acting as the guinea pig or taking the fall for their various pranks.

Parents
Butters' parents, Linda and Steven (Chris in a few episodes), are overbearing and strict, often treating him unfairly, such as when they grounded him and forced him to wear a bag over his head for his "silly face," or sold him to Paris Hilton for $250 million. In one episode, Linda Stotch tries to kill Butters by drowning him in a car to "protect" him from the knowledge that his father is gay.
Professor Chaos
In the first five episodes of the sixth season, Butters joins Eric Cartman, Stan Marsh and Kyle Broflovski as one of the main four characters after Kenny McCormick dies. After the other boys ditch Butters for being "too lame," he adopts the super villain alter ego of Professor Chaos. Aided by his sidekick, General Disarray (Dougie) and his "minion" hamsters, Professor Chaos takes out his anger at being outcast from society by wreaking havoc on the local community by mixing up orders at the local restaurant, trying to drown the world with a garden hose and hiding chalkboard erasers in classrooms.
