Butterbeer
Butterbeer is a fictional drink served in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, typically in the village of Hogsmeade. It is enjoyed by wizards, both young and old, as well as House-Elves. It's reportedly mildly alcoholic, and has a "warming effect" on the drinker. Butterbeer can be served hot or cold, and has been described by Rowling as "a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch."1
