In July 2008, Israeli authorities arrested six Arabs who allegedly plotted to attack President Bush's helicopter in January 2008. One of the students, Muhammad Najam, reportedly occupied a Hebrew University dormitory room that overlooked a helipad used by the President during a January visit to Jerusalem.1

The Suspects
The six individuals arrested in the alleged plot include two Israeli Arabs and four Palestinians from East Jerusalem. The six suspects are Najam, Ibraham Na'ashaf, Yousef Sumarin, Anas Shwayke, Kamal Abu Kweidar and Ahmad Shwayke.1
