The Burnout Paradise demo was released on December 13, 2007. The demo was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The demo included three areas:

1. Motor City
2. Ocean View
3. Big Surf Bearch

Players start out with the Hunter Cavalry muscle car. The demo also includes gas stations that replenish the boost meter and a paint shop where players can change the color of their car. Players can choose from three solo events, crash fifteen billboards, ramps to complete "super jumps" and 34 fences to crash.¹ The demo also included online multiplayer action.
