Brutal Legend is slated for release in 2008. A definitive date has yet to be announced. Brutal Legend is an action adventure game under development by Double Fine Productions for the Xbox 360 and PS3, scheduled for release in 2008. It follows the story of Eddie Riggs, a roadie for a heavy metal band. One night as Riggs is tuning a guitar, he is injured and his blood drips onto his belt buckle. Before he knows what is happening, the blood brings the beast on his buckle to life, transporting him into an alternative reality that is Heavy Metal/Nordic- inspired, where demons have enslaved humanity.
