Brothers Grimm is a film about two con-artists who use phony exorcisms to rid evil. However, they get more than they bargain for when they face a real life
fairy tale curse.
While The Brothers Grimm was originally was scheduled to debut in theaters in November of 2004, it was not released until August 26, 2005. Terry Gilliam, the director, was nominated in 2005 for a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival for the film. In 2006, the Central Ohio Film Critics Association awarded Heath Ledger "Actor of the Year" for his role as Jacob Grimm.
