Brooke White

Guide Note

Brooke White is a Top 5 finalist on Season 7 of American Idol. One of White's standout performances was on the March 24, 2008, episode when she sang her rendition of The Police song "Every Breath You Take". After starting the song in the wrong key, White stopped playing and started again at the piano, winning "safe" status despite the error. A couple weeks later she forgot the beginning of the lyrics to the song "You Must Love Me" from the Evita soundtrack.

She was eliminated from the show and made a tearful farewell on April 30, 2008.
