Not Just for Hunting
Generations of breeding as a work dog has given the Brittany an appealingly balanced temperament, making it an excellent companion dog for the non-hunter. It tends to be alert, curious, affectionate and eager to please.2 The Brittany is an active dog requiring frequent walks and playtime, and is best suited for an active owner.2 A well-trained Brittany can elevate the game of fetch to an art form, as it simulates the bird-hunting ritual for which it is bred.3
