Britney Spears Circus

Britney Spears' sixth studio album, titled Circus, will be released on December 2. According to Jive Records the release will coincide with singer's 27th birthday. Circus is the follow-up to Spears' 2007 album,Blackout¹

Womanizer

The first single from the album, "Womanizer" was released to radio stations on September 26. "Womanizer" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 2008. It was Spears first #1 on the Hot 100 since her debut single, "...Baby One More Time."³

Album Leaked Early

On November 16, 2008, PerezHilton.com reported that the entire Circus album had been leaked online, weeks before its intended release. Songs that were leaked include "Mannequin," "Unusual You," "Out From Under," "If U Seek Amy", "Lace and Leather" and "Phonography"⁴
