Professional wrestler Brian Adams, better known as "Crush" in the World Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment), was found dead on August 13, 2007.

In the wake of wrestler Chris Benoit's murder-suicide, the body of Brian Adams was discovered at his Tampa home. His wife called for paramedics, who pronounced Adams dead at the scene. He was 44.

Because Adams had been arrested for possession of anabolic steroids in 1995, there was some speculation that they played a factor in his death.¹

Toxicology reports later revealed in September that Adams died from an overdose of painkillers and antidepressants.²

While part of the WWE, Adams was introduced as the third member of then-WWE Tag Team Champions Demolition. As a singles wrestler, Adams feuded with Doink the Clown and Randy Savage.
