Breaking Benjamin
Breaking Benjamin is an alternative rock band formed in 1998. After building a devoted fan base in their native Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, they were signed to Hollywood Records who released their debut, Saturate, in 2002. Their second album, We Are Not Alone, featured several songs that were collaborations with Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. The record went on to sell over a million copies.
Breaking Benjamin was forced to postpone shows in 2007 due to an illness that lead singer Benjamin Burnley had. Burnley denied rumors around the same time that the band was breaking up.
