Boris Spassky is a Chess grandmaster, best known for his match with Bobby Fischer in 1972. Spassky has been playing chess since the age of five, training with master-level Chess players beginning at the age of ten. Spassky was the youngest player to reach the First Category rank at age ten, Candidate Master rank at age 11 and Master rank by age 15.
