Bob Casey Endorses Obama

Guide Note: Senator Bob Casey from Pennsylvania announced his endorsement of Democratic Presidential candidate, Barack Obama on Friday, March 28, 2008. The endorsement came as a surprise to the Obama team as Casey had stated he would not endorse anyone until after the April 22nd primary. Casey will make an appearance on April 22 in Pennsylvania at the primary election. It is also reported that he will be joining Obama on a six-day bus tour covering the state of Pennsylvania.
The strategists for Obama feel Casey's endorsement could help him gain the vote of the white working-class man that are generally referred to as 'Casey Democrats.'
