The Character of Bruno
Bruno is one of three major characters popularized by Sacha Baron Cohen on Da Ali G Show. Cohen plays Bruno as a flamboyantly gay Austrian television commentator. In June, 2008, Cohen tricked former Mossad agent Yossi Alpher into sitting for an interview in which Bruno confused hummus with Hamas and asked Alpher why the Jews refused to return the pyramids.2
