Blockbuster Total Access
Total Access is an online movie rental subscription program from the Blockbuster company. The program offers flexibility in obtaining movies, by allowing customers to order by mail only, or the option to exchange the movies in a physical store location. The company is considering offering a subscription plan, with an extra yearly fee, that would lower pre-rental prices. December 2007 subscription prices were $19.99 a month, for three DVD rentals by mail, and the ability to exchange up to five DVDs in a store. The prices increased to $34.99 for movies by mail and unlimited in-store exchanges. Blockbuster is in competition with the online movie rental company, Netflix.
