Gameplay
The game includes several different modes

Players can unlock content by gaining points as they play the various modes. The story mode follows a very linear storyline and changes slightly with each character. Players will battle against several CPs and will follow a basic premise from the anime. To move players use the analog. To attack, players move the Wii-mote up/down of left/right. Combos are limited to special swipes. There are two meters players must keep an eye on and that is the stamina bar and the bankai bar. The stamina bar decreases with each attack so players must conserve their energy. The bankai bar fills up when players land a hit or receive a hit.1.1 When the bankai meter, players can perform a powerful attack.
Reception
Bleach: Shattered Blade received average reviews from IGN and GameSpot. The major complaint was that the fighting was too shallow and the gameplay was mediocre.1.2 The game also does not feature online play.
